The Author’s Secret Handshake

Of course, the only secret to an author’s suc­cess is to accept that it’s a dif­fi­cult pro­fes­sion. Lonely, time-inten­sive, frus­trat­ing, low-pay­ing, self-taught and self-direct­ed.  Success or fail­ure depends on your­self alone.  Sigh. So, here I am, reach­ing out to take hands with my col­leagues, tra­di­tion­al­ly and self-pub­lished, print and e-pub­lished, long-time, mul­ti-, pre- and unpub­lished.  I offer the writ­ing tips and tools and tech­niques that have helped me along my jour­ney.
